Congratulations to LA junior Duncan Hargis for his selection as a winner for the UCEMC Washington Youth Tour Short Story contest! Duncan was one of several students chosen for this honor; he has received an all-expense paid trip to our nation's capital in June in addition to a $1000 scholarship!

The annual Overton County Fair Grounds clean-up event will take place on March 27th. LA seniors interested in contributing (and receiving six hours of community service) may see Teresa Johnson for a trip ticket (to be completed by March 25th).

Voluntary Pre-K program Kick off night - Thursday March 13 from 4:30-6:00 P.M/

Due to the ongoing icy weather conditions, Overton County Schools requested an additional virtual day from the state. This has been approved, and Overton County Schools will be virtual for Friday February 21, 2025

Senior parents, the JHA company is launching yard signs through their photo marketing; parents may build their sign with existing senior pictures. Signs will be double-sided with names and pictures both. Be on the lookout for emails with more information; these will be sent the last week of February.


Livingston Academy's 2025 final exams schedule may be viewed in the attached image. Please be aware that no exams will be given early, and those who miss an exam with an unexcused absence will not be permitted to make it up.


In honor of CTE Month, Livingston Academy CTE will host a CTSO Spirit Week. CTSO stands for Career and Technical Student Organizations, including Future Farmers of America (FFA), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) and Technology Student Association (TSA). In recognition of the students and teachers that make these organizations possible, the upcoming week at Livingston Academy will feature special announcements, posters, and shirts. LA students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to participate in Friday's dress-up day, sporting the colors of their favorite club:
